This album follows a loose narrative of a man who travels from a distant land in pursuit of an ancient cavern said to contain the Milk of Paradise, an elixir that grants immortality.

1 - Snowy Pass - It is dark, but aurorae light the way for the outlander as he crosses the mountain pass into the land he believes holds the ancient elixir. A gentle but frigid breeze carries powdered snow through the air.

2 - Into Strange Lands - Coming down from the mountains, the outlander quickly realizes that he is somewhere vastly different than his home. The rocky highlands are littered with ruins of a long lost civilization.

3 - Warmer Confines - The outlander takes refuge at an inn, providing a brief respite from the strange country he is traversing. He listens to a bard who tells tales of a great mountain holding the Milk of Paradise, and its key that was lost eras ago.

4 - Vestiges - With renewed vigor, the outlander scours ruins for signs of the lost key. In one ruin, a mural depicts a tunnel running beneath a marshland, which appears to hold some kind of significance. Perhaps it is connected to the elixir

5 - Totems in the Marsh - The outlander finds the marshland and searches for the entrance to a tunnel. A deep fog covers the land, broken only by large totems of carved black rock. In time, he finds a secret door in one of the poles and enters the tunnel.

6 - Deep Recesses - The way is dark, damp, and cold. Twisting tunnels gives way to chambers which give way to more tunnels. The decaying remains of a cruel and long-gone people litter the halls. at the end of this yields a treasury containing great riches. The outlander ignores these, turning instead to a large golden key. At last, immortality is within grasp.

7 - The Bitter Milk of Paradise - The outlander approaches the great mountain, knowing that atop it lays the elixir of immortality. At the summit he finds the door and unlocks it. Inside he finds a round cavern with several hallways branching out from it. At the center is an altar with a small chalice. He drinks from the cup, and as the bitter elixir touches his lips, the door closes.

8 - Trapped in Eternity - The Milk of Paradise works as intended, but with bitter consequence. The door is locked and cannot be opened. The outlander explores the connecting hallways and finds no way out. He is trapped in the cavern for eternity.
